Women need different kinds of nutritious compounds during pregnancy. Child growing in the womb gets nutrition and food from it’s mother.
Mother can help in development of child through food. Calcium is required for the development of child in the womb. Foods that should be eaten during pregnancy are:
Milk products with less fat:
Milk products with low fat are a goof source of calcium. It is beneficial for a pregnant woman to eat paneer or cheese twice a week.
Nuts:
Nuts help to develop bones, teeth and nerves of a baby growing in the womb. It also provides appropriate protein to pregnant woman.
Fish:
It is beneficial for a pregnant women to eat fish and meat regularly. It helps in the development of embryo and also increases the immune system of mother and child. But before eating fish, pregnant women should get permission from doctor.
Sesame:
Sesame is also a good source of calcium. So, consumption of oil is also beneficial for pregnant women.
Spinach:
Calcium is found in abundant amount in green leafy vegetables like spinach and broccoli. It also helps in the development of skin, bones and brain of the child. So, eat green leafy vegetables at least once a day.
