British Prince Henry Charles Albert David ‘Harry’ today arrived in the Leurani village of Lamjung district on his third day in Nepal.
The Prince enjoyed the cultural and traditional welcome of the locals upon his arrival.He met the families of the British Gurkhas as well as the quake-hit families in the district. Prince Harry gave his word to provide support for the same through the Gorkha Welfare Fund.

He also trekked for an hour from Bhirkuna from Gaunda, the foothills of the Himalayas. He will be spending the night at a homestay in the village.
According to the Royal Communications team, the 31-year-old travelled to Nepal in a bid to raise awareness that the country is in dire need of aid following last year’s earthquakes which killed almost 9,000 people.On Sunday, he visited centuries-old heritage sites that were devastated in the earthquakes and met with survivors.
Tens of thousands of survivors are still living in huts made from tin sheets and tarpaulin as reconstruction has been delayed by political bickering over a new constitution.
