अति भो’ भन्दै मोर्चाकै बिरूद्ध उत्रिए स्थानीय

Demonstrators of United Madhesi March closed the main customs border of Rautahat and they even bu*rnt down a motorcycle at the Nepal India border area on Saturday. While bringing some goods from India to Nepal at 10 in the morning, the demonstrators burnt down the bike of Shyam Babu Prasad of Rautahat Bishrampur VDC-6 with number plate of NA25PA5738.
Shyam Babu has went to Bairagni Market of India to buy some materials for marriage ceremony. One sack of rice which he had brought to feed the guests at the wedding, plastic glasses and plates were bu*rnt. Victim Shyam Babu said, ‘Markets of Nepal are closed from months and there are no goods. I was returning in the morning at 15-20 people started beating me up forcefully at the sentry post bridge.’ A bike with Indian number plate was also burnt because of the fire. According to the police, the demonstrators fled away after the police arrived and the police took control of the bu*rnt bike.
Locals take a stand against the March
After having too much the locals have finally taken a stand against the March and have destroyed the tent made by the demonstrators. The locals took all the tents, mats, blankets and other things kept in the tent into the water of Barhawa lake. A tension was created between the locals and the demo*nstrators.
Locals were also raged because despite the agreement that medicines will not be stopped and abducted at the border, the agreement is not being implemented by the dem*onstrators. After the demonstrators ran away, the politicians went over to calm the locals down.
