 Amid the drama that has surrounded India and Pakistan cricket in the last few months, the two Asian rivals will finally face off in the league round match of the Asia Cup 2016 tournament. This is the first time ever that the Asia Cup will be held in the Twenty20 cricket format, and India versus Pakistan clash will provide some terrific entertainment. While the Indian cricketers are coming off a win in Australia, the Pakistani cricket team will have many of its players coming in fresh from the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The latest development in the drama that has prevented India and Pakistani cricketers to clash on the cricket field is that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will seek the permission of their government to travel to India, for participating in the ICC World T20 2016. India will be hosting the mega T20 tournament for the first time ever and Pakistan have threatened that they might actually abstain from it. To add more to the drama, Pakistan have delayed announcing their squads for the tournament while every single participating country have named theirs.

Nevertheless, a T20 clash between India and Pakistan on February 27 promises lot of entertainment. Both the teams boast of a strong contingent, and they will aim to get a win as India and Pakistan will clash once again in the ICC World T20 2016, at Dharamsala.
