A meeting of the major three parties and Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Chairman Mahanta Thakur-led Madhesi Morcha talk is underway at TMLP party office in Bijulibazar, Kathmandu.

Personal aide of Thakur, Satyendra Kumar Mishra said that discussion is underway on the pre-conditions set by the morcha that include– withdrawal of security personnel on the ground, treatment to the injured, Rs1 million in compensation to the kin of deceased and release of the morcha cadres.

Mishra said that there will be talk on the content only if the demands are addressed.
Earlier, a meeting of the top leaders of the major three parties discussed over the government’s position during the dialogue with agitating parties at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.
The top leaders also mulled on ways to end the ‘undeclared’ Indian embargo and talks with Madhesi morcha.
