We can never deny that snakes are very impressive reptiles even if we love them or hate them. These reptiles are able to survive in a huge array of climates and are found in every continent except Antarctica. These creatures have also been existing in the planet for million of years.

There are different varieties and species of snake and there might be more out there which are not even known to man kind. These different species of snake range in size, weight and many more but below are listed the 2 biggest and longest snakes which are familiar to man kind.
Giant anaconda: Giant anacondas (Eunectes murinus) weigh up to 550 pounds. It is considered the largest snake in the world considering it’s ratio of length to weight. They are about 17 feet in average length and are also known as green anaconda. Some individuals of the species are known to grow up to 30 feet. They are aquatic monsters and are measured to be 3 feet in diameter. These snakes are non poisonous but are constrictors.

Reticulated python: Reticulated pythons (Python reticulatus) grow up to 30 feet long. They are found in the south eastern Asia and East Indies and are the longest snakes in the world. The giant reptiles weight 250 pounds. But the largest reticulated python even measured was 350 pounds. These snakes bite their prey and swallow it whole after slowly squeezing it to de*ath.
