Looking over the Nepali Music sector, it is very hard to raise the investment invested in the music by artists. But the no of artists joining the industry is increasing. This competition seen in the sector of singing, the demand of singer Radhika Hamal is still increasing. Hamal has recorded more than 2 dozen songs just for Teej. Hamal who has already sang in nearly 33 songs this year has hard time remembering all her songs. But she has listed all the songs in her diary for memory. Hamal who has sang songs of many author’s song ‘Ma na Hakimani’ has gained a lot of popularity.

In the time when many Teej songs are facing controversy, Hamal is presenting a different opinion. She says that not everyone can walk the same way. And saying that it is personal for some to believe it or not she added that the songs are facing controversy and popularity at the same time because people are saying bad things and claiming it to be bad. She requests that if someone thinks something is bad, they should not talk about it.
Lately, the Teej songs are not only getting in controversy but the relation between a girl and her house is also disappearing. In this context singer Hamal says that since Teej started to get someone so there is nothing to get shocked about. The festival of Teej started when Parvati fasted to get Shiva as husband and now the Teej songs have become more about lovers which Hamal claims to be common. Singer Radhika Hamal who claims these things to be normal, herself does not fast to get a good husband. But she says that someone can get good husband by not even fasting.
