There are always a few thrill seekers among us though and working with wild animals is undoubtedly suited to those with a zest for the more dangerous side of life. Most of us will remember the tragic death of conservationist and presenter Steve Irwin who was stabbed by a stingray while filming a documentary on the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland.
