World Peace Day is grandly celebrated in Panchthar. The day is celebrated by Santi Samiti Panchthar in which the locals have played the traditional instruments- Naumati and other instruments. The march has thus conversed into the formal program after reaching to the assembly hall of Panchthar. Subhang and Angana are also paid honor in the program for their toil in restoring peace. The program was arranged in the Chief Guest of Purusottam Ghimire, the Chief District Officer of Panchthar who has distributed the prizes and certificates to the members and organizer of Santi Samiti in the program.
