Nepal earthquake Update: September 22
Rs 2.5 million assistance amount distributed for quake victims
A campaign initiated by some Chitwan-based journalists to help the earthquake victims has distributed Rs 2.5 million so far.
Vice-chairman of the campaign, Binod Rijal, said that the amount was distributed to the quake survivors in some areas of Chitwan, Dhading, Gorkha and Makawanpur districts. He added that the children of Chepang community were also provided assistance to help their studies.
Currently, the campaign is leading the building construction works of Dungbang Rastriya Primary School at remote Lothar VDC in Chitwan district. Total cost of the building construction is estimated Rs 1.5 million and Rs 800,000 was already collected for the same.
Likewise, Dipak Nepal, a Nepali residing in Japan, has provided Rs 554,000 for the construction of the school building. RSS

Fresh tremor felt
A fresh aftershock of 4 on the Richter scale jolted Dolakha district at 4:05 am this morning.
The National Seismological Centre said that epicentre of the quake was around Gaurishankar Conservation Area in the district. So far, a total of 395 aftershocks above four on the Richter scale have been recorded after the deadly April 25 Gorkha Earthquake, Centre said. RSS

The ‘Bill on Reconstruction of the Earthquake Damaged Structures, 2072′, has been sent to the concerned committee from the parliament for clause-wise discussion on Saturday.
Kavre: CIAA probes into fund distribution to quake-hit
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has started investigations into the alleged irregularities in the distribution of relief amount meant for survivors of deadly April 25 earthquake in Kavrepalanchowk district.
