Raina Agni, who is gearing up for her forthcoming album “Challi, opened up about her musical influences. “I love Jennifer Lopez and Shakira and I have immense amount of respect for Lataji and my personal favorite are Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal. They have explored many genres of music. They have unique vocals and they are not just singers, they are live wire performers. And most of them are successful not just as singers but also as actors,” she said.She looks up to her mother as her mentor. “I have grown up watching my mother sing. Growing up with her and watching her obsess over being an artist was truly inspiring to me. She was a trained classical singer as well as professor in a renowned college in Mumbai. She wasn’t a singer by passion but she was a well qualified singer with a Triple MA degree in classical music,” she says.
