Society Chairperson Babulal Tamang received the drivers and helpers of the tankers dispatched by Nepal Oil Corporation to address growing petroleum crisis in the country to keep their confidence high.
Locals welcomed the tanker drivers and helpers with cotton shawl. Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) Abadesh Bista shared that total 12 tankers carrying 12,000 litres fuel headed towards northern bordering side Rasuwagadhi from district headquarters Dhunche.
Bibek Lama, driver of fuel tanker (Na 4 Kha 4317), said that the cooperation and welcome by local people including civil society, security personnel and journalists have boosted up their confidence to continuously carry petro products through the Pasang Lyamu Route.
Local administration has informed that a programme was organized at Nepal's northern border Rasuwagadhi on last Saturday ahead of petro supply from the Chinese government to Nepal.
Meanwhile, lawmakers from Rasuwa Janardan Dhakal and Chhowang Tenzing Lama said that the supply of petroleum products from the Chinese government to neighbouring Nepal during the tough time caused by Indian unofficial blockade is welcoming. "We are happy for the government being successful in importing fuel from China against Indian blockade", they said. RSS
